During his tenure the ground was laid for the Metro Rail, Kempegowda International Airport, flyovers in Bengaluru and above all the annual ‘IT.Com’ event which brought international IT players to participate. The event became so popular that leaders cutting across party lines acknowledged Krishna for making Bengaluru a “must-visit destination for IT giants”.

Although Krishna was criticized for neglecting the agricultural sector, the Yashaswini Health Scheme was launched in 2003, which provided cost-effective medical care to farmers.
