Actor Manoj Bajpayee sits down with The Quint To talk about his early days in the industry, working in the latest installment of ‘Tell Me All’ Satya, Why he believes the film fraternity is in disarray, how his wife has affected his career and much more.
Talking about finding work during his early days in the industry, Bajpayee said, “It was very difficult for production people to find work; It was very difficult to meet anyone on the set if you were not part of the unit. There was no casting director’s office; It was almost impossible to find work. Word of mouth was more important than anything else.”
Talking about his wife’s influence, he said, “If I can move around freely it was because of her support. She has full faith in me and is also my biggest critic. She does not want me to enjoy fame even a moment longer than necessary; She wants me to be realistic about everything.”
