“No government did not help, put 40 handters by itself”
Anil, living in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, lost his brother Umesh Sarathe. When he reached Prayagraj to take the dead body, he did not even get the government ambulance. Anil told The Quint that neither UP nor MP government helped. Arranged everything by himself. Put 40 thousand rupees from your pocket. The ambulance had to be changed three times. Then he could reach home somewhere with his brother’s body.
It was claimed to run 7000 buses for Mahakumbh, but 70 -year -old Balikaran Singh of Satna and his 60 -year -old wife Devi Singh had to walk 60 km to reach home after a stampede.
Questions arising from the answers of responsibilities after the Kumbh accident
Now come back to their original question. I had already said that the questions will be started with the answers that the responsibilities of Mahakumbh gave on the accident. Let’s talk to them one by one. The first answer came from Rajesh Dwivedi, SSP of Kumbh Mela. He flatly denied that there was a stampede. Said that there was more congestion, due to which some devotees were injured.
Akanksha Rana, OSD of the fair, has said that a stampede -like situation was created when some barrier broke on Sangam nose. There are people injured. There is no serious condition. Yogi government minister Sanjay Nishad says that a small incident occurs in such a big event.
It was tweeted from the Twitter handle of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that there is a peaceful bath at all the ghats of Sangam. Do not pay attention to any rumor at all.
An accident happened at night. It happened in the morning. It was evening after noon. On Mauni Amavasya, Shankaracharyas took a Amrit bath. Naga sadhus waved swords. Saints and devotees were rained by the helicopter. All this went on all day. But no one has released any official data of death from anywhere. It was not known whether anyone died or not.
“There was a huge crowd pressure on the Akhara road in the fair area. Due to the pressure of this crowd, barricades on the other side broke. The crowd people started crushing the devotees waiting for a bath on the other side.”
The mob was responsible for the accident. But the question is, who was responsible for controlling the crowd? Did the police not be present there when the barricades were broken?
