It is clear as Blue Sky for anyone that the Congress remains a collapse with a visible or viable strategy for the future revival.
More than a decade ago, the AK Antony Committee presented a report on the Congress 2014 Lok Sabha defeat. One of its major findings was the revelation that the increasing number of voters in India considered the Congress as anti -Hindu. The inauguration of the Ram temple or even the Kumbh Mela devotees during some dismissal comments shows the behavior of its leaders that no lesson has been learned.
The party has made some clumsy efforts to project the credibility of its ‘Hindutva’ in some elections. But this is foolish because it is considered as BJP’s ‘B team’. The strength of the Congress was traditionally an appeal to all sections of the society. The effort will be required to get back that support and a clear statorji will be required; My gimmick and rhetoric will not be enough.
There is another political reality that underlines the complexity of politics in India. While many people are arguing that Sajjan Kumar’s decision is very low and is too late, it is clear that the voters of Punjab have long forgiven the Congress for the 1984 riots. But the BJP, which has constantly made the cause of riot victims champion, struggles to gain support in Punjab.
No wonder that experienced pundits fail to understand politics in India.
