The incident is from Dumroon village of Ichak block. According to the police, there was a dispute over the installation of loudspeakers in front of Urdu school on Mahashivaratri. Actually, the Hindu side was adamant to put a speaker permanently in front of the school.
He further explains, “There was a conversation with the Hindu side that someone from behind the Urdu school drove a brick. After which there was chaos on the spot.”
According to the police, after the stone pelting incident, people from the Hindu side set fire to three bikes and a car. At the same time, an attempt was made to burn a shop.
The police have filed an FIR against 45 nominated and 200 unidentified people in this case. Three people have been arrested in this case, out of which 2 are from Hindu side.
