Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the much-loved couples in the television world. The duo got married back in 2018, and in 2024, they welcomed their baby boy, Ruhaan into their lives. Dipika took a break in her career and took care of her family before saying ‘yes’ to the show, Celebrity MasterChef. Well, a few days later, she left the show, citing a hand-related issue. Now, in a conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit, Dipika bared her heart out. However, she had to face the wrath of netizens once again for one of her remarks.
Dipika Kakar says her parents didn’t do any arrangements for her wedding with Shoaib Ibrahim in Maudaha
Dipika Kakar recently sat for an interview with Nayandeep Rakshit on his YouTube channel, Nayansense, wherein she talked about several aspects. In the teaser that Nayan posted, Dipika shared how she was targeted for anything and everything she did, be it choosing her career after marriage or taking a break. The actress mentioned that she wanted to take care of her family, and she did but people’s opinions of her made her weak. She further stated that every man and woman should take responsibility for the happiness of their families.
Well, one of her remarks didn’t go down well with the internet users. In one of the segments, Dipika said that when she got married to Shoaib in his place, Maudaha, she and her family were ‘ladkiwale’. She abruptly stated that her parents didn’t do anything and didn’t make even a single arrangement. Dipika can be quoted as saying:
“Humari shaadi Maudaha mein hui thi. And Maudaha me of course Shoaib ke side ke sare log the. We were the ‘ladkiwala’. Mere parents ne ek kaam nahi kiya hain shaadi mein, ek taiyarri nahi kiye hai shaadi ki. I don’t even want to say anything else.”

No sooner was Dipika Kakar’s clip posted, than netizens rushed to the comment section and shared their opinions. Netizens defended Dipika’s parents and asked her how they could even make arrangements when the rituals took place in Maudaha. Some even said that it was unfair what Dipika said as her mom has been helping her a lot throughout her motherhood. Some asked her to stop disrespecting her parents in every interview.
One user commented, “Dipika… don’t disrespect your parents in every interview.” Another user wrote, “Madam I don’t know your parents and your past but please since the last one and half year she is taking care of your child like the apple of her eye still in front of media, why why do u bring your parents bad faces !!!!” A third user commented, “No you are not sorted..you are twisted if you are using your mother full time…and also shading her and your father.”

Shoaib Ibrahim brought a flat for Dipika Kakar’s mother
It was a few days ago when Shoaib Ibrahim gifted Dipika’s mom a flat. In one of his vlogs, Shoaib was seen gifting his mother-in-law a home. Dipika revealed that her husband brought that home for her mom. Shoaib stated that he wanted to give Dipika’s mom a sense of privacy, who was staying with them and was helping them raise Ruhaan.
