The fashion show, which took place in Jammu and Kashmirga Gulmar, caused a huge political line, especially because it took place during the Islamic Holy Moon Ramzan. The event caused criticism from various political and religious sections, and this issue even reached the legislative assembly of Jamm and Kashmir. Chief Minister Omar Abdulu assured this issue.

Ruckus in the assembly
The J&K Legislative Assembly – which last year held its first election in the mla for a decade – on Monday on Monday was a testimony to the release of the fashion show Gulmarga. Members of the ruling National Conference (NC), opposite to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and several independent MSU raised the case, saying that it was harmful to the mood of people.

The main priest condemns the show
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-Black Priest Kashmir and Chairman of the conference separatist Juriat-consecrated event into the urgent word.
“The flamboyant! The fact that on the holidays, Ramzana is organized by obscene fashion show in #gulmarg, drawings and videos, from which a viral upheaval and anger came among the people,” he said.
“How can this be allowed in a valley known for its Sufi, holy culture and deeply religious worldview of your people?” he asked.
Mehbob calls the event “obscene spectacle”
Mehbooba Mufti – the leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Chief Minister of J&A to the abolition of statehood – stated that “deeply” seeing visual materials from this event.
“The fact that such an event that descended into an obscene spectacle occurred during the Holy Month of Ramadan is not shocking. It is permanent that private hotels are allowed to promote such vulgarity through these events, which is brazenly contrary to our cultural values,” said the mufti on the Platform of Social Media X.
CM Abdullah is looking for a report
J&A CM Omar Abdullah said he understood the “shock and anger” of people.
“Some people say that such a show should not have happened in Ramadan’s month. After what I saw, I believe it should not happen at any time of the year,” said 55 -year -old Abdullah.
The Chief Minister has denied allegations of the role of the government to assist the event. “It was a private party organized in a private hotel and handed out invitations privately.”
Abdullah sought a report on this issue and assured strict actions.
