Ne-Yo is standing firm in his polyamorous lifestyle and isn’t letting critics shake his confidence.
Over the weekend, the R&B star took to Instagram to officially introduce the four women he’s currently dating, urging naysayers to either “say something nice” or simply “move on.”
“Since the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly. LADIES AND GENTS I PRESENT MY PYRAMID,” Ne-Yo captioned a post showing him posing with his girlfriends.
The “Miss Independent” singer identified his partners as Arielle Hill, Brionna Williams, Cristina, and Moneii. Each woman also carries a nickname—Cristina is “Pretty Baby,” Moneii is “Phoenix Feather,” Williams is “Sexy Lil’ Somethin’,” and Hill goes by “Twin Flame.”
“We happy over here,” Ne-Yo, 45, added, making it clear that the relationship dynamic works for them.
While this is the first time Ne-Yo has publicly confirmed his polyamorous status, he’s been sharing moments with all four women for weeks. In fact, three of them—Cristina, Moneii, and Hill—refer to each other as “wives” and even run a joint Instagram account, @the.mrs.lefts, dedicated to their relationship with Ne-Yo. The page features intimate snapshots of them hanging out, attending parties, and cozying up together.
Meanwhile, Williams, who is one of Ne-Yo’s backup dancers, has opted to share content solely featuring her and Ne-Yo.
This isn’t the first time Ne-Yo has addressed his polyamorous lifestyle. Back in February, during an interview on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, he defended his approach to love and relationships, making it clear that everyone involved is informed and consenting.
“I ain’t manipulating nobody, I ain’t brainwashing nobody, I ain’t lying to nobody,” he said. “I set it out there. ‘Here’s what it is. I like you, but I also like her, and her, and her. If you cool with that, come on, we gonna have a great time.’”
Ne-Yo emphasized that honesty is at the core of his relationship style. “I feel like I wasted a lot of time just being dishonest about things, to the point where had I taken this approach initially, I could’ve saved myself a lot of headache and heartache,” he explained.
Ne-Yo was previously married to Crystal Renay from 2016 to 2022, and the former couple share three children: sons Shaffer Chimere Jr., 8, Roman Alexander-Raj, 6, and daughter Isabella Rose, 3. He also has two kids with his ex, Monyetta Shaw-Carter, and another two with his former partner Sade Jenea.
