The 34 -year -old Ray Rao was arrested by the income department (DRI) on March 3 after coming to Kempegaud International Airport from Dubai, and the gold bars worth 12.56 were confiscated from it.
Deputy Chief Minister Karnataka D.K. Shivakumum has rejected reports that two ministers have links to the case of smuggling gold involving actress Kannada Rao and called reports “political gossip”. He also stated that the state government has nothing to do with the case as the central agencies are investigating it.
The deputy CM also said: “No minister is involved, we do not know anything. This is all political gossip. The researchers will investigate the law. We have nothing to do,” Shivakum said.
Speaking to the journalists here on Monday, he said, “The Central Government is investigating, let it do it.” The 34 -year -old Ray Rao was arrested by the income department (DRI) on March 3 after coming to Kempegaud International Airport from Dubai, and the gold bars worth 12.56 were confiscated from it.
The next day, DRI said she had seized gold jewelry worth 2.06 rubles and funds worth 2.67 rupees from Bengalur’s residence. Early Podlasie-School K. The Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) has registered FIR in this case.
