The dancers prepared for cultural performances to welcome the Prime Minister of the Modi.
One of the performers, Swayamprabha, said: “We needed about 10 days to prepare. Speech is a mixture of catak, Bharatiyama and Kuchipudi. These dance styles are also taught in schools … We are very pleased with the Prime Minister in Mauritia.”
