Popular TV actress, Aditi Sharma is hogging the limelight for all the wrong reasons. This is because her estranged hubby, Abhineet Kaushik, has made some shocking claims about Aditi and has accused her of having an extramarital affair with her co-actor, Samarthya Gupta. Aditi is best known for her work in Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udaan. Abhineet also accused her of cheating on her while she had clarified that she and Samarthya have always been good friends.
Aditi Sharma opens up on the extramarital accusation levied by Abhineet Kaushik
Aditi shared, in an interview with the India Forums that even if she gazed at a man, spoke to him or even socialised, Abhineet would give her different kinds of names. Abhineet in an interview with the India Forums, opened up about Aditi’s secret marriage. Aditi shared how Abhineet always had issues with her chatting with guys. In her words:
“If I chat with any guy he would have a problem with that too. It would be a big issue if I put a ‘heart’ emoticon also. And when we went to the counsellor to talk about our issues she also dismissed saying that this is his insecurity which is playing in his head.”
Aditi Sharma reveals her rights to socialise
Aditi also revealed that being a lady in 2025, she always had the right to socialise and talk to her co-stars and men, which was not wrong. She was not trying to cross boundaries or was not trying to flirt. Reacting to the claims of Abhineet, Aditi revealed that a man would never question or point any finger at his wife’s character. She was accused of such things and was made to feel insignificant about herself. In her words:
“It clearly shows what kind of a person he is and his thought process. I was slowly drifting away from all my friends and my family because of him.”
Abhineet Kaushik opens up about his secret marriage with Aditi Sharma
Abhineet shared that Aditi and he had married in the presence of their close friends and family members in Goregaon, Mumbai back on November 12, 2024. They had kept their marriage a secret for the longest time. Abhineet spoke about it and said:
“Aditi ka kehna tha humesha se ki agar main shaadi karti hun, toh it’s a taboo in her career. So shaadi karne se mereko kaam nahi milega, one thing, and agar mereko kaam mil bi jaata hai, toh bohot low budget mein milega. Being a partner, I always supported what she said, so we kept it secret.”
It was in June 2021 when Abhineet and Aditi first met in an online acting class. Abhineet had decided to stay back and shared that he had come all the way to Mumbai to meet her. Things started off that way, and nothing was one-sided about them living together. However, they also had different flats. Things then turned ugly between the duo and went beyond repair.
