Railway Minister Ashvini Vaishna welcomed Elon Musk to India on Wednesday and said it would help railway projects in remote areas of the country.
“Starlink, welcome to India! It will be useful for the railway projects of the remote area,” Vaishnava on the social media platform X. Vaishna is also a minister of information and broadcasting, as well as electronics and information technologies.
His comments are executed by two separate deals with Jio Mukesh Ambani and Bharti Airtel Sunil Mittal platforms, affected by SpaceX, aerospace, led by Musk to bring Broadband Starlink Internet services to India.
Both deals follow the months regarding the way the spectrum rights should be granted. Over the past few months, Jio and Airtel’s competitors have come together to demand the auction for the Satellite Service Spell Scell Auction as they feared that administrative distribution would give masculine broadcasts at a price lower than what they paid through auctions in the past.
Jio offers Starlink equipment in outlets and online shops and will also support customer installation and activation. Jio and SpaceX also study how they can increase each other’s sentences.
Starlink is the world’s largest constellation (Leo) (lion) run by SpaceX. On Tuesday, Bharti Airtel announced that it concluded an agreement with SpaceX on the attraction of Starlink speed services to India on a non-exclusive basis. Bharti is already cooperating with Eutelsat Oneweb, the second largest constellation Leo.
Similarly, Jio Platform has a joint venture with SES, another leading global supplier of Content Sutnertian solutions. Starlink can help Bharti and Jio provide connection with previously insufficient areas, especially areas that are currently restricted without coating. Airtel and Jio deals come a few weeks after Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Musk, which was considered very close to US President Donald Trump in Washington to discuss issues, including space, mobility, technology and innovation.
Modi was in the US to meet with Trump, which in the second term, US president raised snoring at tariffs against different countries, including India.
