Actress, Ragini Dwivedi recently spoke about a viral video where she was seen slapping a man. The alleged incident took place when the actress was doing a night out, and a man reportedly grabbed the actress without her consent.

Ragini had an instant reaction when a man touched her without consent. She had been in a club to launch her new song, and it was there that the actress, without thinking twice, slapped the man. She narrated about the incident recently in an interview with the Times Of India and said:
“I was there, obliging to picture requests, when this man came out of nowhere and pulled my hand so hard. My instant reflex was to give him a tight slap. As a woman, I did what I could to protect myself.”

Ragini also shared that there have been many incidents in the past where fans had gotten unruly and shared that the situation was not just happening to female actors but to male actors as well. Ragini had slapped the man as he pulled her hand when she was clicking pictures with her fans. She revealed she did not have any regrets about slapping a man. In her words:
“He was immediately escorted out, but if I had an opportunity, I would have gotten down and slapped him twice more. People like that need to be taught a lesson.”
What had happened at the club that made Ragini Dwivedi slap the man?
According to a Times Of India report, Ragini was at a club in Bengaluru where she was speaking to her sea of fans. Things took a weird turn, and a fun-filled night had turned into a disaster that she did not want to ignore. On the work front, Ragini has kept herself busy with an interesting line of projects from varied film industries. She had explored her avenue with the Tamil movie, E-mail and then was also seen in the Sanskrit movie, Sloka, which has been a rare site in itself. Ragini had also surprised her fans with a cameo in a Kannada movie titled Sanju Weds Geetha 2 and is also getting ready for the releases of Mohanlal’s epic, Vrushabha and Sorry- Karma Returns. Kannada cinema has been Ragini’s house since she did her debut in 2009 and then Ragini was seen dipping her toes in the Malayalam and Tamil movies.

Well, there was also a recent content creator who had taken to social media and had tagged Ragini Dwivedi for the song that created a viral controversy because of the slapping incident. The random man had created a scene in the club that had caught the attention of the masses.
