Karnatak’s office approves a correction on the KTPP law for a 4% quota for Muslim contractors: that’s what that means

The Karnataki cabinet approved a correction on the transparency of Karnataki in the field of public procurement (KTPP), which is aimed at providing four percent of reservations in the tenders of a Muslim contractor, official sources said. The decision was made on Friday at a meeting in the hall of Vihan Sabhi, chaired by the Chief Minister of Siddaramia, and it was decided that the correction of the KTPP for the continued session was added.

Earlier on March 7, Syddoramia Chief Minister confirmed that four percent of public work contracts would be reserved for Muslims in category B, presenting the Karnataki government budget.

The reservation will be provided in the procurement of goods and services within the framework of various government agencies, corporations and institutions for suppliers belonging to SC, ST, I, I, II a and II of Categories, to 1 rupees, in which category-II B belongs to Muslims.
