Four children tragically killed in the Western Singbhum area after being trapped in a fire near their home.
Four children were wrapped up to death in a fire, which broke out on Monday near their home near the Western Singbhum Dzharkhand, police said. The incident happened in the village of Hitilippi near the Jaganatpur police area in Tibass around 11am, they said.
The children played hay when the fire started, PTI was informed by the police chief Ashutosha Shehar. “The team was sent to the place for a detailed investigation,” he said. The dead were identified as Prince Chatar (5), Sakhil Blue (5), Bhumika Sundi (5) and Rokhit Sandy (2).
Local Birang Gagrai said, “When I came to get the water from the well near the site, I saw the children and shouted. The Verkovtsy immediately took them out, but they have already died.”
