Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has recalled the hilarious mishaps she had while supporting daughter Kitty, 14, at her school concert on Sunday evening.
The KIIS FM radio star, 50, spoke about what happened on air during her Kyle and Jackie O radio show, explaining she was incredibly jetlagged after flying into Sydney at 6am earlier that day from Europe.
Talking to her co-host Kyle Sandilands and Brooklyn Ross, Jackie said she didn’t really want to go to the concert in the first place because of how tired she was.

She explained through laughter that she accidentally fell asleep while sitting alone in the audience, that she felt a bit awkward being there as a single mum and by herself, and that she ended up filming the wrong girl during a performance.
“I had to go to Kitty’s school concert last night. Lee wasn’t going and somebody had to be there,” she said about her British photographer ex-husband Lee Henderson, who is Kitty’s father.
“Honestly, the whole day, I’m like, ‘How can I get out of this?’ I was like, ‘Can I bribe her? Can I say, ‘Do you want to chuck a sickie?”” she laughed.

Jackie explained the show was at the Sydney Opera House and she purchased one seat.
“There’s a benefit of being single and lonely, it’s cheaper to live!” Sandilands joked.
“Everyone, it seems, at Kitty’s school is still married. I feel like the only parent that isn’t!” Jackie said.

“We had to sit through the orchestral stuff first, I reckon in 10 minutes, I was asleep.
“You know when you’re on the nod and your head is jolting up and it’s obvious to everyone around you.”
“You’re famous, so people are watching!” newsreader Brooklyn Ross said.
Sandilands joked: “‘Check her out [they would be saying], she’s probably drunk, back on the pills have a look at her, she’s wasted,’ they’d be saying. You’d be better off staying at home.”
Jackie said she took a break outside to get some fresh air, but ended up watching Kitty’s performance and filming her, or so she thought.
“I thought, ‘Oh, there she is!’ I spotted her, I zoomed in and was like, ‘that’s Kitty, I got her.’ I filmed the wrong girl. I need glasses, right? My eyesight is so bad.”
“Then I get a text from Kitty 25 minutes after she’s performed and she says, ‘Mum, I felt sick, I didn’t go up on stage to perform’. I thought, ‘Oh, great’, but that’s all good, poor thing.”

Jackie had just been in Europe, visiting locations including Berlin, Athens and London on a trip with her best friend and Besties business partner, Gemma.
It comes after Jackie admitted recently on her radio show that she still wants to find the man of her dreams after her split from ex-husband Lee.
The admission came after her Sandilands asked if she’d ever consider open relationships.

“So Jackie, are you in the open relationship mode now or no?” he asked.
“No, no, definitely not, it’s not for me,” Jackie, 50, instantly replied.
“You’re still looking for ‘The One’ right?” he added.
“Yep, yeah,” she confirmed.

Back in 2018, Jackie O confirmed her shock split from her British photographer husband Henderson after 18 years together.
They had tied the knot back in 2003.
