Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley and husband of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Annemarie Wiley, has once again been accused of sexual assault.
Wiley has been accused of raping two women at Columbia University in 1994, according to lawsuits filed in New York. The most recent lawsuit, filed earlier this month, alleges that Wiley raped a classmate in his dorm room on October 27th, 1994. Another lawsuit, filed in 2023, claims that Wiley raped a different woman in her dorm room in November 1994. Both lawsuits name Columbia University as a defendant.
According to the latest lawsuit, the plaintiff “said ‘no’ repeatedly” as Wiley allegedly steered their conversation toward sex. The lawsuit states, “Wiley began to get angry and threatened plaintiff,” before allegedly forcing her onto the bed and raping her. “Wiley held plaintiff down and raped her whispering in her ear the entire time saying to relax, enjoy it, stop crying, and stop fighting the feeling.”
The plaintiff allegedly attempted to report the assault to a school administrator, who warned her that she “would be known as the girl who destroyed a Black man’s NFL dream.” She is now seeking punitive damages, citing lasting physical, emotional, and financial harm.
Wiley previously denied the first allegation, calling it “B.S.” in 2023. His attorney has not responded to requests for comment.
Wiley, who played ten NFL seasons, later worked at ESPN and Fox Sports. He married Annemarie Wiley in 2014, and they share three children. He also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
