Morgan, who was rushed to the hospital after the incident, shared a photo from his hospital bed Tuesday morning, thanking fans for their concern. He wrote, “Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning. Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me, and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”
In classic Tracy Morgan fashion, he found humor in the situation, joking, “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court, so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs! 😅 #goknicks.”
The unexpected incident caused a brief delay in the game as medical staff attended to Morgan. He was eventually escorted out in a wheelchair. While some reports claimed he had blood coming from his nose, a source close to Morgan denied those rumors. A rep for Madison Square Garden later issued a statement wishing him well and saying they look forward to welcoming him back soon.
