The number of Indian citizens who were sentenced to the UAE but the decision will not be implemented yet 25 years, the government reported on Thursday. Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kirti Vardhan Singh stated this in a written response to Raja Sabha’s request.

According to the data, the figures are 25 (UAE), 11 (Saudi Arabia), six (Malaysia), three (Kuwait) and one for Indonesia, Qatar, USA and Yemen.
“Indian missions/positions abroad provide all possible assistance to Indian citizens who have been convicted, including the death sentences by foreign courts. Indian missions/positions also provide consular access, visiting prison prisons and stems from their cases, prisons, state prosecutors and other agencies.
Mea was also asked if there was any Indian shot or overhauled in foreign countries over the past five years. The minister said such deaths were carried out in Malaysia, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The number of Indian citizens was shot or assigned to the Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in 2024, and the corresponding figure for Zimbabwe. In 2023, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia punished five Indians, Malaysia.
