Nike is experimenting with new colorways for its popular Air Rift, bringing a fresh update to a beloved comfort model.
Originally updated in 2016, the Air Rift returns in its “Black Mesh” version, featuring a sleek black synthetic base, breathable mesh overlays, and the iconic tabi-like middle split toe. Minimal branding on the exterior keeps the design clean and easy to pair with any look. The black midsole and outsole offer a barefoot-like feel that promotes long-lasting wear. A dual strapping and velcro system across the midfoot and heel ensures a secure, personalized fit. This new iteration is designed to meet the needs of sneaker enthusiasts seeking both performance and fashion.
In addition to this release, which is expected out any day now, Nike recently introduced the Air Rift “Suede Pack,” elevating the shoe with a more refined aesthetic. The collection features four tonal colorways—Ironstone, Red Sepia, Parachute Beige, and Photon Dust—each showcasing the shoe’s signature hollow center, ballet-like straps, and chunky sole. These neutral colors make the Pack the perfect addition to any wardrobe, pairing well with anything from jeans to a casual sundress. Unlike the Black Mesh, the “Suede Pack” arrived in Nike stores earlier this month.
