British rocker Gavin Rossdale has briefly touched on his split from ex-wife Gwen Stefani reflecting on the life they shared and the home they built.
Rossdale, 59, who is the lead singer of the band Bush, spoke about the happier times they shared together when appearing on Dinner’s on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
The former couple married back in 2002 but split in 2015 amid rumours he cheated with their nanny.

During the interview, he mentioned their divorce and said his actor friend Jack McBrayer, known for 30 Rock, helped him a lot when it came to parenting.
”What’s so sweet about Jack is… since I got divorced and was raising the kids on my own, he’s come to every Christmas and Thanksgiving that I do with my kids,” Rossdale explained.
”The last Thanksgiving, he sent me – and I posted it on my Instagram a little while ago – he sent me an invoice. For his presence!” he added with a laugh.

During the interview with the Modern Family star, who had purchased the former couple’s old house they lived in, Rossdale said he and Gwen had some wonderful times in the home.
”That was such an exciting time. I was there for a number of years when we were just together, when we got married, we had our first kid there,” he said.
”Gwen did do a beautiful job on the nursery. That house has fantastic memories.”
The couple, who share three sons together, reportedly finalised their divorced in 2016 before Gwen had an anulment granted years later.

She is now married to country music star Blake Shelton.
Rossdale is also father to model Daisy Lowe, 36, who she shares with Pearl Lowe.
He previously said on the Amy and T.J. Podcast that his marriage breakdown to Stefani is his “clearest and simplest shame“.
“I never thought I’d ever get divorced. So there’s a simple shame in my life,” he said.
