The hijacking of a Pakistani train by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has entered its 20th hour. The Jaffar Express, carrying 400 passengers from Quetta to Peshawar, was intercepted in a mountainous tunnel. So far, 214 hostages remain in captivity, while 104 have been freed. The hijackers have threatened to kill 10 more hostages if military operations continue. Reports indicate that 20 Pakistani army personnel have been killed, while 16 hijackers have been eliminated.
