Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian, claims his daughter was raped and murdered
Satish Salian sat for an interview with Republic Media Network’s Editor-in-Chief, Arnab Goswami, where he made the shocking revelation about his daughter, Disha’s death. Advocate and petitioner in Disha’s case, Nilesh Ojha, also stated how Satish has had his doubts for a long time as there was no blood on Disha’s clothes or the floor despite the deadly fall. He also revealed how there were no injuries on the body, head, or face, which should be present in such a case. Satish Salian stated:
“Looking at the investigation, I think it was a murder. There were no injuries that should occur when a body falls from such a height. We should notice how there were no injuries on her body after falling from such a height and how it was so clean.”
Nilesh further added that the post-mortem report mentioned a head injury and multiple injuries which were not visible on Disha’s body at the time of her last rites. According to a report by PTI, Satish claimed that his daughter was brutally raped and murdered, and there was a politically-arranged cover-up involved to protect certain influential people.
Satish Salian reveals why he made a different statement in 2022
In the same conversation, Arnab asked Satish why he took a different stance on the case back in 2022. Responding to the same, Satish explained that there was no pressure on him to make such a statement, but he was manipulated to the point he believed whatever the police told him. When asked if he doubted the police’s role in the case, Staish stated that he initially believed them when they told him it was suicide as he thought they were telling the truth.

Advocate Nilesh Ojha further added that Satish becomes emotional whenever he speaks of his daughter. In an affidavit, it has been mentioned that Satish was in the psychological virtual custody of Rohan Rai (Disha Salian’s fiance) and Aaditya Thackeray’s associates. It was also shared that Mayor Kishori Pednekar visited him and pressured him to file a complaint against Nitesh Rane and Narayan Rane if he wanted his daughter’s image to remain untarnished.
However, once he emerged from the psychological custody and came forward, he realised the story was fabricated. According to Nilesh, he is an eyewitness, and there are other eyewitnesses too. He also stated that details have been kept confidential and will be submitted to the High Court in a sealed envelope.

All prayers to Disha’s family, and I hope nothing happens to them after this news comes out.” Another penned, “People have already made a theory that Aditya killed Disha, and Sushant knew about this, and this is why they got rid of Sushant as well.” While some speculated the news, others questioned why Satish Salian changed his stance and said, “Disha’s dad is saying this to the media 5 years after she died? Back then, they kept pleading to be left alone and to stop coming up with reasons for her death. What’s changed?!”
