Naseeruddin Shah is associated with Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), his Alma Mater, now led by another experienced actor, Anupam Kher. Shah and Kher have worked together on more than 10 film projects. How does he feel about the work of his colleague.

“Where is that? How can I comment on his work when he is rarely in FTII? I don’t think he has been more than twice. I go to FTII to give every lecture now and then to give some lectures. I have been told that he is not seen many times. If he chooses to spend some more time in the institute, we will be able to comment on it and we will be able to comment on it.”

Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher have included in many acclaimed films over the years One Wednesday, Karma And Pestony. Anupam Kher was appointed as the chairman of FTII by the government in October 2017. Kher took over after Gajendra Chauhan’s controversial tenure.
