The 68-year-old music legend and Cold Chisel frontman attended the Melbourne show with a cane in hand amid his health battle.
In February, the star underwent a hip replacement surgery – his third major surgery in just over a year.
In an Instagram post ahead of the show, Jimmy revealed a post-op milestone he had achieved.
“Well, big milestone today. I got on my first flight post op and here we are in Melbourne,” he shared, posting photos of him and wife Jane in Melbourne.
“My girl took me out on our first dinner date together. I feel great.”
