According to the annual report of world happiness, Finland took its main position as the happiest country in the world for the eighth consecutive year. Based on the feedback, the report, which was released on International UN Happiness Day, estimates the standard of living in more than 140 countries. According to Fortune, the study evaluates several variables, including GDP, social support, health, freedom, generosity and perception of corruption to calculate the level of happiness of 147 countries.
Finland reached the excellent average score of 7.74, which made it the happiest country in the world on a scale of 0 to 10, where 10 is the best life that can be imagined.
“They are wealthy, they are healthy, have social connections, social support, (and) connection with nature. They are not happy, joyful, dances on the streets of people, but they are very pleased with their lives,” said Jan-Emmanuel de Nnees, a professor at the University of Oxford, a leader of the Welfare Study. “
Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and the Netherlands are closely in Finland. Excellent standards of life of these countries, dedication to the balance of working life and reliable social support networks contributed to their permanent high rating in happiness polls.
Interestingly, Costa -rice and Mexico debuted in the top -10, providing 6th and 10th, respectively. However, the United States fell in 24th place, the lowest rating, and the UK finished 23.
