Ayesha Kapur is best known for playing the younger version of Rani Mukerji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, Black. Ayesha was seen playing the role of a deaf, dumb and blind girl in the movie, opposite Amitabh Bachchan. She won the hearts of millions as a child artist. The actress, who had a short stint in Hindi cinema, got married on March 22, 2025, to her long-time boyfriend, Adam Oberoi. The actress, who had reportedly left Bollywood to focus on her education, had a dreamy Punjabi-themed wedding in Delhi.

In the past, Ayesha has often dropped lovey-dovey pictures with Adam on her Instagram feed. Marriage is the most important day in anyone’s life. Ayesha, to make her day memorable, stunned in a baby pink lehenga. It looked like Ayesha and Adam had a daytime wedding as her blush pink lehenga choli had a net mesh and was simply designed. She opted for a single dupatta of the same colour. Her bridal ensemble comprised of red chooda that she beautifully showcased, and she wore a stunning nose ring, maang teeka and a necklace that looked like silver.
Adam, on the other hand, looked dapper in a white sherwani, pants that he teamed up with a pink-hued turban. Looking at the pictures, it looked like the couple may have had a Sikh wedding or a proper Punjabi-style wedding. Ayesha’s friends also shared a video where the bride was seen getting out of the car and arranging her lehenga. She smiled at the paps and walked the wedding aisle and smiled at the paps.

Ayesha reportedly was in a relationship with Dhadak actor, Ishaan Khatter before she met Adam. Ayesha was always in a serious relationship with Adam, and after breaking up with Shahid Kapur’s half-brother, Ishaan, she found love in Adam. They have always globetrotted together, and their Instagram handle is proof of their travel diaries.

Ayesha shared screenspace with Amitabh who played the role of her teacher. Her character as ‘Michelle McNally’ has been etched in the minds of her fans as she created an iconic mark with what she called her ‘dream role’. Ayesha, who had played the younger role of Rani Mukerji shared once in an interview with the Hindustan Times that:
“It was a dream role for me. The film was both in Hindi and English, something I was very comfortable with as English is not my first language…. I had a three-film contract with the production house and then the film got shelved and I broke the contract. My parents then insisted that I had to go to college and I went back to studies.”
For the unversed, the actress has left the cinema and is now an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. According to a Times Now Digital report, for her bachelorette party she went to Kovalam Beach.
