It has increased with the advent of the internet, and everyone from actresses to common girls has become its target. Recently, Avneet Kaur, who made her debut as a child artist, shared how, despite growing up in front of a camera, people have speculated and criticised her over getting plastic surgery. Moreover, the young actress shared what skin treatments she uses to care for her skin.
Avneet Kaur clarified rumours about her plastic surgery
Avneet Kaur has constantly made headlines after netizens shared her pictures from her childhood and compared them with her present look to prove that she has done plastic surgery. After being constantly called out for it, Avneet Kaur recently sat down for an interview with Hauterrfly and addressed it. She revealed that she feels weird that despite growing up in front of the camera, people allege that she has made some kind of surgical changes to her features. In her words:
“Sometimes, I still feel so weird when people say, ‘Oh, she’s had so much done to her face,’ or ‘She’s changed so much,’ or ‘She looks completely different.’ Well, when you saw me, I was 7 or 8 years old, literally a little kid. There’s a huge difference between then and now. Now I’m 23, so of course, there’s bound to be a difference. You hit puberty, your features change, and you grow up.”
Further, the Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga actress denied the rumours of undergoing any cosmetic procedures. She clarified that she hasn’t got any filler treatment done but follows up with facial and other methods to take care of it. However, Avneet highlighted that she has never changed her nose or other features. She said:
“I do everything to tighten my skin. I haven’t done anything to change my features, like getting a different nose. Nothing like that has happened to me. I have decent features.”

Avneet Kaur made a shocking revelation about her career in the same conversation. The actress shared that when she was just 12 years old, she had to deliver a heavy monologue during the shooting. However, she made some fumbles, and the director began to verbally abuse her, which affected her self-confidence. Recalling the filmmaker’s actions, she said:
“He said that I wasn’t capable of doing anything and that I would never succeed in this industry. He even abused me verbally. I was very confused because my parents were not allowed on set. I went to my parents and told them everything, and my self-confidence broke as an actor.”
