The heinous murder of 29-year-old ex-Merchant Navy officer, Saurabh Rajput, at the hands of his wife and her lover, has shocked the entire nation. With further investigation, the case had now taken an even darker turn with new revelations about Saurabh’s wife, Muskan Rastogi and her lover, Sahil Shukla. After digging deeper into the case, the police have discovered disturbing details, ranging from the couple’s post-crime vacation to Himachal Pradesh and occult practices.
Satanic graffiti and signs of occult practices were found at Sahil’s home
Amid all the disturbing revelations unfolding in Saurabh Rajput’s murder case, eerie and unsettling details were uncovered when investigators searched Sahil Shukla’s residence. His room was reportedly covered in satanic symbols, tantric markings, and cryptic English phrases. A video clip, allegedly from the site, has been circulating on social media. Sahil’s neighbours also revealed that he was frequently seen dressed in black and yellow. Allegedly, he wore Mahakal inscriptions and often displayed strange behaviour.
Saurabh’s mother suspects that occult practices played a role in his murder
Saurabh’s grieving mother, Renu Devi, has claimed that black magic played a role in her son’s murder. She also alleged that Sahil had manipulated Muskan through occult practices, and brainwashed her to believe that Saurabh had to be sacrificed. Police also found that Muskan created fake Snapchat accounts using her brother’s phone, where she convinced Sahil that his deceased mother’s spirit was speaking to him, demanding a human sacrifice. The Police said:
“Muskan created a fake Snapchat ID in the name of her brother and then told her lover, Sahil, that his dead mother had appeared and was connecting via her brother’s ID. Muskan also told Sahil that his dead mother wanted Saurabh to be killed.”
Muskan and Sahil succeeded in killing Saurabh Rajput after multiple failed attempts
For those unaware, Saurabh Rajput, a former Merchant Navy officer who later found a job in London, had been living with his wife, Muskan Rastogi, in Meerut. Muskan and Saurabh shared a love marriage that began in 2016, and together they had a six-year-old daughter. However, their seemingly mundane life took a sinister turn when Muskan and her childhood friend-turned-lover, Sahil Shukla, decided to move Saurabh out of their way. According to investigations, the duo viewed Saurabh as an obstacle to their relationship and meticulously planned his death.
Muskan and Sahil made their first attempt on February 25, 2025, when the former served Saurabh a meal laced with sedatives. However, this only put Saurabh into deep sleep. Determined to clear their way, Muskan reportedly drugged Saurabh again, and once he was unconscious, Sahil entered their home. Together, they stabbed Saurabh multiple times, then dismembered his body into at least 15 pieces before putting them inside a plastic drum and sealing it with cement.
Perhaps the most disturbing revelation was a video that surfaced online, showing Muskan and Sahil celebrating Holi in Manali, just 11 days after the murder. In the clip, Muskan is seen laughing, playing with colours, feeding Sahil cake, and kissing him — reportedly on his birthday.
