Garcelle Beauvais is officially stepping away from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons.
On Tuesday, she hit up Instagram to break the news.
“I have some news: I have decided to leave Beverly Hills,” she announced in a video. “It’s been a wild ride, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened — but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
Garcelle kept it real about why she’s moving on—family comes first. With her twins heading into their last year of high school and her son Jade launching his career, she wants to be present. But that’s not all—she’s got major projects in the works. “I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in — I can’t tell you anything now but you’ll know soon.”
And while she’s saying goodbye, she’s not slamming the door shut. “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open, so you never know, I might pop back in sometime,” she teased.
Before signing off, Garcelle showed love to the fans who’ve supported her through it all. “You guys have cheered me on, supported me, and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf. It means a lot and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me.”
She ended with a simple message: “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. So see you later.”
