Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf have been married for more than two decades now, but to keep their marriage alive they’ve had to put some rules in place.
In a new interview with People, the tennis stars opened up about a rule they’ve had to create in their marriage.
Pickleball is a sport similar to tennis that sees players use paddles to hit a plastic ball over the net. It’s picked up popularity in the US over the last few years, even reaching the Agassi/Graf household – with one exception.

Agassi told People that he and Graf love the sport because it’s “community driven”.
Graf added that Agassi still plays tennis however she has mostly left the sport in her past, with pickleball offering a much less injury-prone exercise option.
But while the couple do enjoy the sport, there’s one rule they follow in their household.
“We don’t play each other,” Graf told the publication.
“We prefer to be on the same side of the court.”

The couple’s love story first began back in 1992 when Agassi bought a new tux in anticipation of dancing with Graffi during the champion’s dance at the Wimbledon Ball.
Only once he arrived, he was informed that for the first time, the tradition – which sees the male and female champion of the tournament share a dance – had been cancelled.
Agassi was disappointed, but he and Graf were formally introduced at the event, posing for photos with their trophies in their tuxedo and white dress.
However, it wasn’t until years later that their romance began.

While flying to London between the two tournaments, Agassi fashioned an airline menu into a birthday card for Graf. After he presented it to her she called him, and things moved quickly from there.
The couple tied the knot in October 2001 in the courtyard of their Las Vegas home with their mothers their only witnesses.
The couple also share two children, Jaden Gil Agassi, 23 and Jaz Elle Agassi, 21.
