One of the most significant projects in this development is the Mumbai-Pun freeway. This high -speed road improved the link between Mumbai and Pune, reducing travel time and raising road safety.
Mumbai-Punastroed is the first six-strip highway in India and remains the most expensive motorway in the country. Originally stipulated during the former Prime Minister of Atala Bihara Vaipai, the project took 22 years to be fully completed. Some sections were open for public use in 2000. The author’s road covers 94.5 kilometers, starting from the mumbia and ending in the tile.
One of the biggest advantages of this motorway is that it has reduced the journey between Mumbai and Pun three hours to just an hour. The maximum speed limit allowed on the road is 100 km per hour. The high -speed road features tunnels, underground passages and stunning views on Sahadra’s mountains, making the journey both effective and colorful. It was built by Mahashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).
The paid charge for the use of high -speed road vary depending on the type of vehicle. Cars and jeeps are charged 320 for a one-sided way, while mini-products and pace should pay 495 rupees.
