There’s no greater gift than love, but when it takes you down, then knowingly or unknowingly, you become fearless. Something similar happened with a 24-year-old Gurugram-based marketer named Kushalini Paul. She fell in love with a Delhi-based professional, but it turned out to be a nightmare for her. Kushalini was harrassed to such a point that she had to take the help of social media platforms, to voice her pain and ask for help through the digital medium. The post has now gone viral and people have been backing Kushalini.

Kushalini Paul is a 24-year-old Gurugram-based marketer, who, on March 29, 2025, took to her IG handle and shared how her love for someone left her with mental and physical pain in the form of bruises. She shared that she started talking to her boyfriend, Soutik Ganguly over IG, and he felt intriguing. Well, when the duo met, Kushalini found out that Soutik was totally different from what he looked like in the photos, but she made peace with this. Soutik kept telling Kushalini that he remains busy with his work at Atlys, a travel-oriented software development company.

Kushalini revealed that although they were dating, Soutik kept her identity hidden, compared her with his exes, and even tagged her as loud, which led her to opt for therapy to change for him until when she could finally find out his manipulation. Kushalini shared that it was last year in July when Soutik slapped her for the first time, but she still stayed. It was less than one month back when Kushalini got a chance at her dream university in Berlin, and her beau started torturing her again while demanding marriage and kids. The couple met on March 21, 2025, and Soutik being intoxicated, beat Khusalini.
She shared the photos of her condition on LinkedIn. Khusalini said Soutik not only slapped her black and blue but also pulled her hair and choked her until the moment, she couldn’t breathe. When Khusalini fought back, Soutik threatened her that he would impregnate her and marry her afterwards. Khusalini tried lodging an FIR against Soutik, but her plea was refused first and she was asked to be the bigger person to apologise.
Soutik, on the other hand, twisted the story, and his father, a high-ranking Air Force officer, tried to use his influence in this matter. She concluded her note by stating how this incident has left her with a long-term trauma, but she won’t back out and continue fighting. The post has garnered a whole lot of attention and went viral on LinkedIn. Netizens have taken Khusalini’s side and supported her for the pain she had to face, that too, for no mistake at all.
