Sean Kingston is speaking out after being found guilty in a federal wire fraud case.
Over the weekend, the “Beautiful Girls” singer took to Instagram with a cryptic message.
“Lately, they been tryna break me on the daily,” Kingston wrote, seemingly alluding to the recent legal battle that saw both him and his mother, Janice Turner, convicted on all counts in a Fort Lauderdale courtroom.
Kingston, 34, and Turner, 61, were accused of running an elaborate fraud scheme, using his celebrity status to acquire high-end goods—including jewelry, luxury cars, and electronics—without making legitimate payments. A jury reached its decision after just three hours of deliberation.
Following the verdict, Kingston was placed under house arrest with electronic monitoring, while his mother was remanded into federal custody until their sentencing on July 11th. Both were visibly emotional in court as the decision was read.
Despite his legal troubles, Kingston’s latest social media post suggests he is maintaining resilience. However, with sentencing ahead, his future remains uncertain.
