Ishaa Saha started her acting career with Bengali television. Soon, she made her film debut in Bengali cinema in 2017. She was the lead in the film, Projapoti Biskut, directed by Anindya Chatterjee. Talking about her early life, Ishaa Saha was born in Kolkata in a Bengali family. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Surendranath Law College in 2015. Later, she found her calling as a television actor in 2016 with the show Jhanjh Lobongo Phool as Lobongo.
Indraneil Sengupta’s linkup with Ishaa Saha
Indraneil Sengupta lives in Mumbai yet he has often taken up projects in the Bengali cinema. It is where the buzz of his affair with Ishaa Saha made rounds when they worked together in Tarulotar Bhut. In fact, reports even claimed that during the shooting of his other project, Feluda, Indraneil was regularly spotted over video calls with Ishaa. Later, in a media interaction, Indraneil stated that he had heard such buzz, but he had not commented on the matter, and it is a third person who was spreading the rumours. He said:
“I also heard of such things. However, I did not comment, and neither did Ishaa. If a third person spreads rumour about us, we have nothing to say. No one apart from me knows who I am chatting with. I am not that fool. I do not like the mentality of intruding on someone else’s personal life.”
Ishaa Saha also talked about her relationship buzz with Indraneil. She stated that she was aware of people gossiping about her personal life. She called it distasteful but clarified that she was single. Further, Ishaa added that even if she was in a relationship, she would keep it personal.

After almost four years of separation, Barkha Saha first time opened up about rumours about of Indraneil’s extramarital affair with Ishaa Saha. She stated that she had confronted Indraneil about it, but his response was not satisfying. Further, Barkha said:
“Indraneil made a choice—maybe he can justify it now. He can give a hundred reasons, as he has to justify his actions.”
Barkha broke down and revealed that her heart was broken into pieces, and it felt like physical pain. Her belief in humanity broke. She claimed that it is the worse thing a man can do is to break a woman’s trust. She said:
“The actress, who got emotional shared that her confidence was shaken. “Jo dil ka tootna kehte hain—heartache—I felt it. It feels like physical pain. It was an experience I had to go through. My belief in humanity broke at that time, not my faith in marriage or love and it is still somewhere broken. The worst thing you can do to a woman is break her trust because she cannot take betrayal.”
