Chipotle is giving fans another reason to celebrate National Burrito Day this year with the return of its Burrito Vault digital game. Starting March 31, Chipotle Rewards members in the U.S. and Canada can visit UnlockBurritoDay.com to try their hand at building the perfect burrito and unlocking rewards.
The interactive game invites players to guess the correct Chipotle burrito build, one ingredient at a time. Those who successfully crack the code could receive a Buy-One-Get-One free entrée offer. In total, 2,500 BOGO prizes will be given out each hour, and for the first time, the first person to guess correctly in each hour will receive free burritos for a year.
Even if fans don’t win a BOGO, Chipotle will still offer 25 Chipotle Rewards points for participating after all prizes are claimed.
The Burrito Vault was introduced in 2023 and quickly became one of Chipotle’s most popular promotions. This year’s version offers over one billion potential burrito combinations and new hourly prize opportunities, making the experience more accessible throughout the day.
Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer at Chipotle, said the company wanted to bring back the game based on positive feedback and engagement from last year’s rollout.
On April 3—National Burrito Day—Chipotle is also offering $0 delivery fees for all Chipotle Rewards members using the promo code DELIVER on the Chipotle app or website.
