Yashankar did not stop there. Having joined the X Social Media Platform, he wrote in the message: “Nations around the Bay of Bengal have both common interests and common problems.”
He also wrote: “Our northeastern region, in particular, acts as a Bimstec connection center. Trillotral IMT highway to connect the northeast of India to the Pacific Ocean.”
Without naming Bangladesh and China, he said, “The era, when several powers are propagated by the international system, behind us. What we do from our prospects is very dependent on ourselves. How are countries that face many problems that are best done in connection with one individually.”
Jaishankar said Bimstok countries need more cooperation to promote growth. He said: “The results are for all of us to see even today. Be it a connection, trade, investment or services between Bimstec members, we work below our real potential.”
