Chris Brown is urging his fans to refrain from wearing red bandanas at his shows.
The “No Guidance” singer issued a cautionary message ahead of his Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour, responding to fans who suggested showing support by wearing red. This color is commonly associated with the Bloods gang, with which Brown has previously been linked.
“I see a lot of the fans collectively telling Team Breezy to wear red bandannas to the concert,” he wrote on Instagram. “I would highly advise y’all to NOT do that!!”
Instead, Brown encouraged a safer and more positive alternative.
“Just get brown bandannas so y’all won’t run into any problems,” he said. “I don’t want people to get the wrong impression and promote the wrong thing!”
“YALL KNOW I’M BRIS BREEZY BUT WE PROMOTING POSITIVITY ON THIS TOUR!” he emphasized. “Thank you and I love y’all.”
Brown’s message coincided with the announcement of new dates for his tour, which now includes additional stops across North America and Europe. Cities like London, Manchester, East Rutherford, Toronto, Detroit, Denver, Atlanta, Orlando, and Washington D.C. have been added to the lineup.
Presale tickets for the new North American shows go live on April 9th at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales beginning April 11th at the same time.
