Actor Bill Murray snapped at a fan who was getting too close at a movie theater.

The star was hosting a Q&A at the AMC Lincoln Square 13 in New York City for his film “The Friend” when an overenthusiastic fan began following him through the lobby. In a viral TikTok video, the person attempts to film Murray but steps on his heel, nearly causing him to fall.
“Stop it! Stop it!” the 74-year-old actor shouts, visibly frustrated. “You attack me like that again, I’ll step on your foot,” he warns, wagging his finger in the fan’s face. The individual quickly backs off, apologizing. Murray, still irritated, adds, “That is physical assault what you just did,” repeating, “Don’t do it again.”
While some viewers criticized Murray for overreacting, others supported him, stressing the importance of personal space, even for celebrities. Murray, known for his spontaneous interactions with supporters, including photobombing engagements, was seemingly not in the mood for the theater exchange, evidently frustrated by the persistence of this individual.
