First know what is written in the notice?
Notice has been issued under section 126, 130 of BNSS. It is written that the government vs Maulana Shibli etc. In this, the names of 5 people including Maulana Shibli are written. According to the notice,
“During the prayers of the Waqf Board by tying a black band on the arms during the prayers and Eid prayers, the above can disturb the peace system by the said opposition in the coming time. In the coming time, the said opposition can disturb the peace system. In order to maintain peace in the future, the in -charge has been requested by the inspector in -charge to maintain the above mentioned bail/bond.
It is written below in the notice that on April 16, present in front of the city magistrate and give reasons why a bond of 2 lakh rupees should not be filled to maintain peace for one year.
Another notice states that listed people are of domineering, quarrels and criminal tendency, which can distract the innocent people and disturb peace by spreading misconceptions about the Waqf bill. ”
In this notice, the names of Latafat Siddiqui, Maulana Mukarram, Suhail, Savez and Yaqub Pradhan are registered. The Quint spoke to such people who have been issued notice.
“We did not commit any crime by protesting”
On receiving the notice, Maulana Shibli told The Quint, “We had tied a black band on the side against the Waqf Bill, as the All India Muslim Personal Law Board had called to do so. Now we will go to court on 16 April and talk. We have not committed any crime.”
“No case on me, then why such notice?”

“There are about 300 people. These are the people who created a lot of success in Muzaffarnagar during CAA and NRC in the year 2019. These people have an old history of protests. Sumaiya Rana and Uzma Parveen bond notice of 10 lakhs
The Lucknow Police has issued a notice to Samajwadi Party leader Sumaiya Rana and social activist Uzma Parveen to give a bond of Rs 10 lakh and two bounders of the same amount.
