Advisory, issued by the Delhi Health Department, warns that extraordinary hot weather, or Loo, can lead to serious health complications, especially among the vulnerable populations such as children, pregnant women, the elderly, those who work outdoors, and people with previous medical conditions.
Delhi recorded his first thermal wave on Monday with a maximum temperature, which touched 40.2 degrees Celsius. Currently, the city is under a yellow warning that will remain in place until Wednesday.
According to the color code of the meteorological department of India (IMD), the yellow alert advocates “Be aware” and advises people to avoid heat effects, wear light, light color and loose cotton clothes and cover their heads.
