Assaddin Ovaii revised the discussion on Mukesh Ambani Antilium, stating that he stands on the WaqF land, raising legal and political issues against the background of a new WAQF (amendments).
Antiya returned to the focus against the background of the WaQF correction bill 2025
Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, owns one of the most luxurious houses in India anti-AIL, a 27-storey mansion located on Altamount Road, Mumbai. It is estimated that there are 4 532 square meters, the house costs 15,000 rubles. Although it has long become a symbol of wealth and greatness, Antilia returns again in the news – this time is from a new dispute about the land on which it was built.
The WAQF (amendment) has recently been adopted by both Locke -Sabha and Raja Sabha, and now the president is expected. The new law is aimed at improving WAQF properties that are lands donated for religious or charitable purposes in Islam. The law introduces modern ways to register and monitor these lands.
Against the background of discussion of this law, Amim Assadddin Owisi, the leader of the Owisi, claimed that the Antiya’s Earth is actually belonging to the WAQF trust, which causes public discussions. Old Avaii Videos and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also arose, where both claimed that the land was intended for asylum and religious school and was not legitimate.
The reports state that the land was originally transferred to the WAQF Committee in 1986 Keri Bhai Ibrahim. Later, in 2002, the site was sold to Mukech Ambani for 21.5 rupees. However, according to the Bhaskar report, the sale did not perform proper WAQF board procedures. The sale was to be approved by two -thirds of the council, but there was no official meeting. The report also doubted why the charitable organization commissioner turned on, as only the WAQF Council had the powers to approve such sale.
The former CM Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis said its government would take measures based on the conclusions, but the case remained in court for years. The Maharashtri Assembly also noted that the WAQF land could not be sold for private use.
Now, as the WAQF correction bill is approaching the final approval, calls have increased for the WAQF Council and Karim Bhai to resolve the case peacefully. Legal experts say that if the land was indeed owned WAQF, the sale may face serious legal consequences.
Despite the disputes, the Ambani family continues to live in Antilia, which includes luxurious functions such as spa -center, gym, private theater, helicopter, temple and pool. The mansion was designed by the American firm Perkins, and Will and took about four years, from 2006 to 2010.
This is not the first time the WaqF land was at the center of such disputes. In 1950, the WAQF Council ruled 52,000 hectares, and this number increased to more than 9.4 hectares in 2025. As the land values grow, conflicts for ownership and sales of WAQF become more common.
In this case, with the participation of one of the most powerful families in India, it can be a significant decision in how religious and charitable lands are engaged in the future.
