Kangana Ranaut is busy fulfilling her parliamentary duties and managing her ongoing filmy career. The actress-turned-politician recently appeared at a political event in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, wherein she revealed shocking details about her electricity bill and claimed that it was Rs. 1 lakh for a month. Kangana further slammed the Himachal Pradesh government.
Kangana Ranaut claimed that she got Rs. 1 lakh electricity bill for her Manali
Kangana Ranaut slammed Congress-led Himachal Pradesh’s government due to the huge electricity bill she received at her Manali home, where she doesn’t even stay. Talking about the same, Kangana was quoted as saying:
“Iss manhine mere Manali ka ghar ka ek lakh bijli ka bill aaya, jaha main rehti bhi nahi ho. Itni durdasha ki hui hai. Hum padhte hai aur sharmindagi hoti hai key eh kya ho raha hai. Par hamare paas ek mauka hai, aap sab jo mere bhai behen hai, aap log ground pe itna kaam karte hai.”
Kangana was dressed up in a blush pink-hued silk saree with a v-neck sleeveless blouse. She styled her look with a pearl choker and matching pearl earrings and looked no less than a diva. In her speech, Kangana further asked everyone to work towards the betterment of the state. She stated that these people are wolves, and the people of Manali have to get out of their grasp. She said:
“Yeh hum sabka hi dayitva hai, ke hame iss desh ko, iss pradesh ko, unnati ke raaste par chalana hai. Main toh kahungi yeh bhediya hie hai, aur hame hamare pradesh ko inki chungul se nikalna hai.”

Her journey into politics started when she encouraged people to talk about current issues while other celebrities would try to avoid it. Kangana Ranaut’s salary as elected Member of Parliament
Kangana Ranaut started her political career after she won from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. She is now eligible for the salary and other perks of being a Member Of Parliament. Kangana will be getting Rs. 1 lakh per month, as it is the basic salary of an elected MP. The amount was set after a pay hike in 2018 to keep up with the rising cost of living.
Kangana Ranaut will also get daily, travel and other allowances
Not only this, Kangana will also enjoy Rs. 70,000 per month as a constituency allowance to cover expenses for maintaining offices and interacting with the votes in her area. Kangana will also get a daily allowance of Rs. 2,000 for lodging, food and other expenses while attending parliamentary sessions and committee meeting at the national capital.
