Actress Anjelica Huston has revealed her private cancer battle having been diagnosed back in 2019.
Now “in the clear,” the Hollywood star, 73, said she’s “proud of herself” for overcoming the disease, but kept the exact type of cancer she had underwraps.
“It came as a big shock, but it made me conscious of what I shouldn’t do, of places I shouldn’t go,” she told People.

She explained she was diagnosed after John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, starring Keanu Reeves, Huston and Halle Berry, came out in 2019.
She praised her doctors and said: “Sometimes you feel like you don’t want to talk about it for the obvious reasons, but there’s a lot to be said for talking about it and getting it out there and celebrating the fact that one’s come through.”
“I managed to survive it, and I’m proud of myself,” she added.

The Addams Family star revealed she is now four-years cancer free.
The actress, who is the daughter of late film director and screenwriter John Huston, is known for films including The Witches, Prizzi’s Honor and John Wick.
Her grandfather was late Canadian star Walter Huston and some of her siblings are actors.

She dated Hollywood actor Jack Nicholson for years but described their time together as an “emotional rollercoaster”.
She married sculptor Robert Graham in 1992, but he passed away in 2008.
