Recently, video on social media has become a viral involving two birds sitting in a nest of gold ornaments. Several users shared videos with the statement that the birds had stolen more than 1 kg of gold jewelry from three Bengalur’s Big Court stores to build their nest. The following stated that when the jewelers discovered the nest, they decided to restore gold only after the baby birds hatched. Users also stated that store owners raised the safety around the tree to prevent further losses. Discussing the video, the user X wrote: “These birds stole more than a kilogram of gold from three jewelry shops to build their nest on the Bengalur Supreme Court. Because they could restore the gold only after the birds hatched, the jewelry owners intensified the safety.”
Fact check
For the first of all, we ran the video through the Invid tool to obtain key frames from a viral video. We then searched for one key frame with Google Lens, which showed that several other social media users share the same video with similar requirements. Checkup there and there. We also found a video located on the Instagram handle called Surendra Garhwal on April 1, 2025. Check. there.
We also found a PTI report in which we analyzed the same video. The analysis showed that the video was created AI, as its visual materials looked overly smooth and uniform. The report states that PTI -stables conducted a video through a hive moderation, AI detection tool. The result showed a 92 percent aggregate score, which indicates that the video was very likely. In conclusion, we can say that the video is generated and shared with a false requirement.
