Former nanny, Lalita Dsilva, wishes Anant Ambani on his 30th birthday
Taking to her Instagram handle, on April 9, 2025, Lalita Dsilva had a nostalgic moment as she shared a photo of Anant Ambani from his childhood to wish him on his 30th birthday. The picture shows young Anant dressed in traditional Indian attire, proudly donning an Indian flag on his chest. With long hair and innocence written all over his face, the picture offers a precious glimpse into the childhood of Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s youngest son. Alongside the photo, Lalita penned an emotional note that read:
“Wishing my Anant very very happy birthday. God bless him. My Anant is very big now. The way he loves animals, truly admire. Love u, Anant, for ur hard work towards animal safety. Enjoy your day, have lovely birthday. Best wishes. Regards.”
Anant Ambani’s birthday-special padyatra
Despite coming from Asia’s richest business family, Anant Ambani has always maintained a low profile. However, ahead of his 30th birthday, Anant achieved a deeply personal milestone by completing a 140-km padyatra all the way from Jamnagar to Dwarka. He started his journey from Jamnagar on March 29, 2025 and reached his destination on April 8, 2025, just a day before he turned 30. For Anant, the pilgrimage had a great value as it underlined his growing interest in faith and service.
Anant’s wife, Radhika Merchant Ambani, was present at Dwarka on the day he reached, to celebrate this milestone with him. Talking to the media, Radhika expressed her pride in her husband’s achievement and happiness at the fact that he finally completed his wish of celebrating his 30th birthday at the Dwarkadhish temple. She said:
“Anant ki iccha thi ki shaadi ke baad vo chal ke aayege humare ghar se Jamnagar se, aur bahut saal yeh iccha thi. Koi saal nahi ho paaya. Or is saal unhone apna mann laga kar yeh kar dikhaya mujhe bahut garv hai inpe ki aaj hum inka birthday Shree Dwarikadish ke saath celebrate kar rahe hai. Thank you everybody, aur jo bhi ghar se inko yeh dua dete rahe ki unka padayatra safal ho unko bhi humari taraf se thank you very much.”

Lalita on her experience at the Ambani household
This isn’t the first time Lalita Dsilva has opened up about her time with the Ambanis. During Anant’s wedding festivities last year, she fondly recalled her experience as a caregiver to the Ambani siblings, Akash, Isha, and Anant. She was quoted as saying:
“When I entered that house, I got a very warm welcome. I never expected that with such big people… Nita ma’am was so warm, and even Mukesh sir. They just wanted their children to be raised normally.”
Anant Ambani’s philanthropic work
Anant Ambani has found himself attached to animals from his childhood, and he made sure to do something for them as he grew up. The philanthropic spirit in him has led Anant to pioneer Vantara, a world-class animal rescue and rehabilitation center, earning the admiration of many.
