This incident highlights serious flaws in hospitalization and verification procedures, which raises important questions: How did an unqualified doctor manage to bypass the administrative inquiry?
Deepak Tiwari said, “According to the procedure, the hospital was about to verify all paperwork, which should then be cross-checked by the CMHO, so that the doctor could get permission to work.”
According to Mission Hospital Management, Yadav was hired through a Bhopal-based recruitment company registered with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, which is called Evus (unified workforce unique solution).
In -charge at the Mission Hospital, Pushpa Khare said, “They started work in January this year and left in February. He took an echocardiogram machine with him. He did not inform before leaving. We tried to contact them, but no response was received,” Quint.
He said, “It is the responsibility of the verification and the wetting agency. We paid him 50 percent of the doctor’s salary, which is about 4 lakh rupees for this service, but he cheated.”
Asked about whether Yadav’s documents were verified by the agency, an IWUS representative denied the hospital allegations, saying, “We started again in the hospital, but they sidelined us and hired them directly.”
The representative said, “If they had hired him through us, we conducted the necessary investigation and verified his documents.”
However, Khare insisted that he was hired through the agency and was paid for the same. The Quint Copies of both the receipt and the challan have reached.
“We have also filed a complaint against the recruitment agency for his negligence,” he said.
Asked about whether the hospital had carried out any of its own checks, he said, “He was asked to submit documents from a hospital in his previous workplace, Narsinghpur. It was done by the previous management. However, he was shutting down them. After taking over in March, I informed the local police that he had left the hospital without any permission and took the hospital’s property.”
Khare connected the deaths of seven patients to Yadav.
He said, “He treated more than 70 patients and performed around 60 angioplasty. I don’t know if he is a fake doctor. Deaths are under investigation, and only then we will know if he was responsible,” he said.
