India approved an agreement on 63,000 rubles to buy 26 Rafale marine aircraft from France, which has raised the Navy’s air force and protection capabilities.
26 marine aircraft rafale approved to deploy Navy on Ins Vikrant
To strengthen the Indian Fleet, the Security Committee (CCS) has approved the largest in India’s history. The transaction provided for the purchase of 26 Rafale marine fighters from France, which cost more than 63,000 rubles. According to state sources, the agreement will be signed directly between Indian and French governments.
Of the 26 Rafale marine planes, 22 will be single aircraft, and the remaining 4-two estates. The contract also includes a complete package that covers the Navy maintenance, logistics support, training for the Navy staff and Indian companies’ involvement in the production policy. It is expected to increase the defensive sector of the country and promote local production.
The delivery of these advanced planes is expected to begin approximately five years after the transaction is officially signed. These aircraft will be deployed on the first aircraft carrier in India, Ins Vikrant, and will work with existing Mig-29K fighters. While the Mig-29k will continue to fly with Ins Vikramaditya, Rafale’s sea aircraft will significantly increase India’s naval energy.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is already using 36 Rafale Jets on their bases in Ambala and Hashimari. It is expected that the “new transaction” will help improve the capabilities of IAF, especially with the addition of the “buddy” system. This system allows Rafale Jets to use other air in the air, which increases their range and flexibility.
In the future, the Indian fleet also plans to add home fighter fighters. They are developed by the Defense Defense Development and Development Organization and will be based on the Advanced Fair (AMCA) design created for the Air Force.
