Asked about the incident, Civil Aviation Minister Ramahan Naida said on Wednesday that the ministry would bring to the incident and speak with the airline. “If there are any violations, we will take the necessary measures,” said Naidu on the sidelines of the event in the national capital.
“Air India confirms that the incident of the inviolable behavior of passengers on the Cabin AI2336 operating flight, from Delhi to Bangkok, on April 9, 2025,” said the Air India Press.
The crew followed all the procedures set out, and the case was reported to the authorities, the report said.
In addition to preventing a naughty passenger, according to the airline, his crew suggested helping the injured passenger to complaint with the authorities in Bangkok, which was denied at the time.
“The Permanent Independent Committee will be convened to evaluate the incident and determine the action, if any, which will be taken against the disobedient passenger,” the press secretary said.
Air India also stated that it continues to follow the SOP as the DGCA in such issues.
