It was during a live performance of the iconic song, Mere Angne Mein, from Bachchan’s film, Laawaris, where Amitabh himself had lent voice. One particular moment from the show that stayed with people was the moment when Big B shared an adorable moment with Jaya on the stage.
The clip, which was recorded during a performance in New York, showed Amitabh Bachchan taking center stage and, while singing the verses of Mere Angne Mein, he called Jaya Bachchan on the stage. Surprisingly for everyone, the megastar made an impromptu lyric change, twisting it with his cheeky verse:
“Jiski biwi chhoti, uska bhi bada naam hai… goad mein baitha lo, bachche ka kya kaam hai”

New York police department had quite a time controlling it.”
